Blue vitriol is copper sulphate and was used as insecticide, a sireingle (sircingle?) is a leather strap used to fasten a sheet or pack to a horse, colza is a kind of oil / lubricant made from rape seed, wantys are leather ties, a bassinette is a travelling cot.
