DOLHPIN PRINT

My parents bought the shop about 1959 and ran it as a greengrocers.  They then let it to Eileen’s Florist about 1975.

I bought the shop in 1985 and now run it as a printers.

  • I think Dolphin Print used to come and print at my dad’s place in Laburnum Avenue. (LABURNUM BUILDING DESIGNS). Jim Everitt. I Think my dad also used their service from time to time. Sadly my dad died 6 yrs ago.

  • I used to collect matchbox labels and matchbooks. I remember getting some printed here, 1977 I think, may still have a couple in the loft, will try and locate. Just round the bend used to be Nina Dallas, hairdressers, used to walk past looking at one of the stylists, much older than me, but a teenager could always dream.
