One of today’s visitors at our Open Day went to Fryerns School. He had a memory of an artist in residence called Sacarie Douglas-Camp(?) who when she left donated the metal statue of a Mother and Child she had made to the school. Does anyone know what happend to it when the school closed?
16.5.2017. I asked the staff at Wat Tyler Park if they knew what had happened to this statue and no one there knew anything about it, but they asked other council officers at the Basildon Centre and one of them sent in this photo. So it is safe.
