This photo was found within a collection of photographs and documents supplied to us by the family of the late Peter Nutt, a historian of Wickford. We are interested to know if the photo has any meaning for any viewers of this site because it has no information relating to its age, location or the people in it.
Can you give us any clues about who these people are? It appears to be of a team and one suggestion is that they are cyclists though there seems to be no obvious reason for this. It has been suggested, based mainly on dress, that this may be a group of Americans. Possibly this was a group that visited Wickford in the past or it may not relate to Wickford at all. Any information would be welcome.
