Open Day, 22nd October 2022.

Our recent Open Day was the first since 2019, and we were very happy to welcome back so many of our friends and contributors.  The number attending was as good as any in the years that we have held an Open Day.

There was a steady flow of people into the hall to look at the photograph displays, the bound sets of newspapers from the 1950s and 60s, and other artefacts.

It was also good to meet past and present residents who had memories of days gone by.

We want to keep the archive growing, and we eagerly look forward to new contributions. Perhaps the Open Day has rekindled some memories that you can share, either by adding a new article or by adding comments to existing articles.
