I remember the Quart Pot, late 1970s-early 1980s. I played for the darts team, the landlords were Maurice and Marie Squirrel, one of the barmen was a fellow called Kevin. We used to go from here at throw out time to a club in Hullbridge, to the left of The Anchor.

Yes it is definitely the Quart Pot, but a few years before I lived in the house In the background. My parents and I moved there in 1935 when I was 6 months old.

After visiting this pub on many occasions, purely for medicinal purposes you understand, I’m sure this is the Quart Pot. Ahh, happy days.

Looking at the large tree in the front of the building I would say it was the Quart Pot, but I am not that old.
