An Unusual Carnival Float

On the visit last weekend to Stow Maries Airfield the guide showed us this replica Tiger Moth airplane that the Wickford ATC had built some time ago as a carnival float. It was as accurate as they could make it but they had to make the wings shorter so that the carnival float could pass through the traffic lights in the High Street. Are there any young men out there who can tell us more of this project?
