Pardey and Johnson, the bakers

Pardey and Johnson

My maiden name was Linda Bowhill. My parents John and Florie Bowhill managed the bakery at Pardy and Johnson during early sixties until 1966. ( Other properties next to the bakery were the grocery stores owned by P&J). They fed the Wickford community with delicious Artisan bread products during the bread strike in December 1965. I, along with my brother attended Beauchamps secondary school. My two other brothers attended Wickford Infants and Junior schools during the sixties.
