Wickford Carnival 1974
These pictures, scanned from transparencies, were taken probably at the 1974 carnival. In those days the carnival started at Bruce Grove and went down Southend Road to Wickford. The children are from Mrs Goodfellow’s playschool, which was in St Charles Drive. Many of the pictures were taken at or from the Shotgate railway bridge.
