'Stowell'

These two photographs were taken in February 2018, and show ‘Stowell’ in Ozonia Avenue.

This was one of several bungalows built in 1928 by James Greeno of Bromfords Drive. The first one built was ‘Eastleigh’ and was for Greeno’s own use.

The bungalows were freehold, had 2 bedrooms and sizeable pieces of ground. They sold at a profit for £200 when they were built.

This bungalow was demolished in 2021 and replaced by 2 semi detached houses.
