Members of the archive were greatly saddened to hear of the sudden death of one their colleagues. Paula had been troubled with a heart problem for some years, but made light of the situation and got on with living life to the full. Her funeral service exemplified how much Paula was loved when family and friends, about 150 in all, celebrated her life. Perhaps most moving was the reading of a letter written by Paula for her funeral, showing her positive approach to life and death. Many people will have a gap in their lives now that Paula is no longer with us.

I am sorry I did not go to the funeral as I did not know when. Please convey my apologies to whoever it may be. I did know she had not been well for some time. Sorry again.
