I remember having to go by coach to a brand new school in Basildon during my second year because there wasn’t enough room for us all. Also remember being sent to a shop on the corner of Market Road to get a large mixing bowl filled with confectioners cream to fill the eclairs we had made in domestic science. I can’t name very many faces in the photo, it’s a long time ago.
