St Margaret's Church, Downham - the new windows.

Restoration of windows in the church

Lost in the fire were the stained glass windows, some of which contained 14th century glass. A temporary plain glass window was installed to make the church usable until a new main window could be designed and installed.

Here are some  photos showing the replacement newly designed windows being installed.

One of the small windows commemorates St John’s Church, Ramsden Heath, where some services were held while the restoration was carried out.
